About Us
The Faculty has been established by the board of trustee's decision on the seventh of July 1999 to administrate the
graduate studies and scientific research affairs. The Faculty is a part of
the University system which is looking forward to reach the main goals of
its existence. Of these goals which the Faculty of Graduate Studies and
Scientific Research responsible for is to administrate
graduate studies programs and scientific research of the University colleges
which are distributed all over the country. Hence, the colleges
started to offer master degree programs in certain areas of specialties and
is planning to offer more so as to respond to the needs of the country. It
is also planning to offer Ph.D. programs whenever possible. The Faculty is
seeking to consolidate and encourage the basic and applied research in
various disciplines. Hence, it is seeking financial support for scientific
research from various institutions inside the country and abroad. The
Faculty is concentrating on the graduate studies and scientific research
which serves the community, regional and international concerns; such as
social, economical, agricultural and industrial issues.
